poor you & the first two to sing

Inspired by andy thomas' dust heart, "poor you" is the second graphic poetry collection from jesse brookstein.

The images portray lifeless, nameless figures with definitive-yet-uncertain stories to tell - all inspired by the day-to-day and the album, "wicked, dark."

"the first two to sing" accompanies "poor you" with short poems written with a steady, broken fragmentation. Titles exist where the poem allows them, and words themselves serve as art on the page.
